SLANK
Slank is the name of one of the top Indonesian music group that started in December 1983 with the establishment of Cikini Stones Complex (CSC),a musical group comprised of high school Perguruan Cikini,Jakarta.This is where Bimo Setiawan (drums),Boy (guitar),Kiki (guitar),Abi (bass),Uti (vocals) and Well Welly (vocals) express their love of the works of the Rolling Stones.Unfortunately,this group can not survive and disperse.Here is a brief history of the founding of Slank
Slank stood December 1983 with the first name cikini complex stone,with members,Bimo Setiawan (drums),Boy (guitar),Kiki (guitar),Abi (bass),Uti (vocals),Wel Welly (vocals).They often brought songs of Rolling Stone,their idol.On the way some of them out.Because tenacity Bimbim,call Bimo Setiawan formed a band again and changed its name to Red Evil.With the formation Bim2 (drums),Bongky (guitar),Kiki (guitar),Denny (bass),Erwan (vocals).And they've started to dare play their own songs.
Their appearance on the stage who tend to be limited and full of joke.So that the audience often call them slenge'an band.From that moment their band's name changed into Slank

Entering 2004, when punk music managed to hit Indonesia, Kaka change the image itself with Mohawk hair. Punk style Slank. As soon as they call it. Slank Naif held a joint concert called 24 City Road to Peace. What's interesting about this concert is, brought new songs that have not been performed and the results of his songs recorded live and made the next album. Anak Menteng is a collection of songs from a soundtrack sinetron Anak Menteng starring Tio Pakusadewo, Bucek, Reeny Jayusman, Unique Pricilla, Isaac, etc. and is broadcast in one of the private TV "Anteve" in Indonesia around 1997. It's been quite a long time. The album was produced by Slank and lagu2nya most of them taken from several previous albums.
